CPLP™ Study Group
ASTD-OC hosts an online synchronous CPLP™ Study Group facilitated by CPLPs with expertise in each knowledge area. The Study Group consists of 11 online sessions, including an introduction and sessions dedicated to each Area of Expertise (AOE). These 90-minute sessions, hosted on GoToWebinar™, will be recorded and archived to our dedicated CPLP™ Study Group website and made accessible to registered study group members.
During each 90-minute study session, a CPLP™ certified expert will guide candidates through an overview of the knowledge area, facilitate activities that will demonstrate and explain complex concepts, provide sample exam questions, and develop exam taking techniques.
Additional study resources will include links to supplemental materials for each knowledge area (AOE), and a discussion forum dedicated to CPLP Candidates.
The ASTD-OC CPLP™ Study Group sessions are held throughout the year, coinciding with ASTD CI’s Knowledge Exam schedule. The next session is scheduled to begin January 5, 2013, 9:00 am (PT) and continue every Saturday for 11 weeks. To register, check the Events Calendar.
What do you need to participate in the CPLP™ Study Group?
- Computer & Internet Connection: GoToWebinar is a live online, computer-based classroom. Enhance your participation and learning with a computer microphone, however this is not required equipoment.
- Learning Materials: The Knowledge Exam Content Outline only provides the topics covered in the exam. It is not a comprehensive study guide. We suggest you obtain materials that will provide content on all Areas of Expertise to help you prepare. The ASTD Learning System is a self-directed learning resource created specifically to help you prepare for the CPLP Knowledge Exam.
Is access to the ASTD-OC CPLP™ Study Group Free?
YES! If you are a member of ASTD-OC you can participate in the study group as part of you membership benefits.
For other ASTD members, there is a nominal fee of $100 which gives you 1 year access to the ASTD-OC CPLP™ Study Group materials and resources.
For non-members, the fee is $120
