Moving while training creates energy in the room, gains and regains your participants’ attention, and can even help participants learn and retain information better.  At the next Trainers’ SIG meeting, we will practice and fine tune the way you move while training.  We’ll focus on 3 types of movement:

  • facial expressions
  • gestures
  • movement about the room

Those who are new to training will get a chance to practice foundational techniques while experienced presenters will focus on nuances and nuggets that will help them move even more intentionally than they already do.

Whether you currently move a little or a lot when you’re in front of a room, the goal will be for you to leave this session having taken your "moving while training" skill set from your current level to the next.

Your Facilitator, Anthony Harmetz, is a long-time ASTD-OC volunteer and a chapter Past President. For many years the leader of the training function at Bally Total Fitness, a major services sector corporation, Anthony is now a Training consultant helping individuals and organizations with training design, development and delivery.
