What happens when an internal organization is composed of specialized areas not served by traditional learning development and delivery?
Do-It-Yourself! (With guidance from the learning organization team of course!)
This presentation describes how one organization set up a self-propelled learning community, where associates with expertise use video to share their knowledge across their global organization. From April through November 2013, associates in the organization created over 600 video learning assets to support identified competencies! And video development continues to this day.
The platform used is a corporate social collaboration tool allowing assets to be shared with interested audiences. (And, by the way, it's mobile!) Most of the creators had no video experience, were not learning professionals, and the social collaboration platform was unknown to them when they started.
Learn their innovative approach, challenges and success factors.
In this presentation, you will learn how to address important and challenging learning needs through innovative approaches, technologies, and learning methods. After the presentation, you will have the skill and knowledge to:
Beginners gain techniques they can pursue to further their development. Current practitioners and experts see the application of a creative confluence of technology to meet business and organizational objectives.
