Presented by Denise Lamonte

Is your organizational change effort failing because the wrong people are leading it? Perhaps they don’t have the authority needed to make the changes. Or they may not have the operational knowledge to integrate key processes into the change. It could be because no matter what their titles, they are not people of influence in the organization.

In his book Leading Change J.P. Kotter says, “Because major change is so difficult to accomplish, a powerful force is required to sustain the process.” (p. 53).  That is why he includes “Creating a Guiding Coalition” as Step 2 in his 8-Stage organizational change model.

Join us as Denise Lamonte shares best practices for forming, developing and leading a successful Guiding Coalition through a real-world case study at St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare.

In this program you will improve your practical understanding of using Guiding Coalitions for organizational change. This will include how to:

  • Choose members
  • Build team trust
  • Develop structures that strengthen and empower
  • Sustain momentum and appreciate the organic nature of this process

Change is a constant in organizations. Join us to add Guiding Coalitions to your change leadership toolbox.
