Engaging Excellent is about getting the best from consultants and providing the best work for clients. Even if you see yourself as a person hiring consultants, this is a program to attend.

This session begins our direct work with Flawless Consulting by Peter Block.

Here is Peter Block’s (Best Selling Author of Flawless Consulting) definition of a consultant: a consultant is a person who is trying to have some influence over a group or organization but has no direct power to make changes or implement programs.

Are you passionate about your job? Your role within the organization? Your ideas?

Of course you are. And that’s why you should attend this session. Because it will provide you even more tools to widen your sphere of impact. This will be a highly interactive and informative session! It will be impossible for you not to walk away with new knowledge and skills after participating in this session.

Whether you are a practiced consultant or just beginning to realize that your staff position requires you to act as an internal consultant, this session will add to your skills.

Every once in a while, a resource is created which encapsulates the very best of a craft. Peter Block’s Flawless Consulting is such a resource. The word that best describes this resource is authentic. And that’s how you will describe your experience in this session: authentic.

The five phases of any consulting project are:

  1. Entry and contracting
  2. Discovery and dialogue
  3. Feedback and the decision to act
  4. Engagement and implementation
  5. Extension, recycle, or termination

This first Engaging Excellence session is about the first phase: Entry and Contracting. The program will be facilitated by Jeffrey Hansler. Come ready to take your skills to the next level.

Jeffrey Hansler, author of Sell Little Red Hen! Sell! published in eleven languages, is a consultant and educator. An expert at organizational development, leadership, and persuasive communication, he is well versed in our industry with extensive consulting experience in construction, healthcare, government, tech, manufacturing, and service.
