We hope you join us for this lively, festive and “edutaining” program. Not only will we celebrate our volunteers and chapter accomplishments, we will laugh and learn together.

As trainers and leaders we improvise all the time. We may not, however, know how to intentionally use improvisational techniques to enhance our facilitation, communication and business relationships.

During this program you will:

  • Enjoy some entertaining improvisation
  • Be introduced to key improvisational techniques
  • Experience how improvisational games can be used in training and presentations
  • Participate (optional) in improvisational games with our speakers and other attendees

Presenters: Bob Doll, Lee Godden & Dan Joblins

Advantage Improv cofounders, Bob Doll and Lee Godden, met while performing improvisational comedy on stage. They had two other things in common: careers as successful business executives and strong backgrounds as corporate educators. They have presented at multiple TEDx events together. They teach forward-thinking organizations and teams how to boost creativity, effectiveness and profits by leveraging proven improvisational techniques.

Bob Doll, a 25-year business leader in operations and finance, served in several organizations, including McGraw Hill. An award-winning actor and voice-over professional Bob has performed with multiple improvisational and comedy troupes.

Lee Godden, a U.S. military veteran, enjoyed a 22-year career managing sales teams across North America. Since then, he has published a book, written for television and the LA Times, and is an internationally recognized speaker and trainer. Lee is a principal cast member of ImprovCity.

Dan Jablons, an executive leader in sales and operations, is a frequent speaker at conferences, is a founding member of the National Improvisational Troupe in New York City, and recently appeared on the TV show "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
