Why Many Change Efforts Fail

Presented Virtually by Peter Block
Wednesday, March 23 ~ 10:45 am to 1:00 pm

This is a special meeting that will be a hybrid of our regular chapter meeting event, with Peter Block presenting virtually to our on-site Learning Event attendees, as well as to a separate virtual audience.

Most efforts for change are sophisticated marketing efforts. They come from the top. They are rolled out. They are in a hurry. They think measuring is key. These are colonial strategies that people know how to defend against too well. High impact change occurs through engagement; it needs to be chosen; it proceeds at its own pace. Peter Block will give examples of change efforts that have made a real difference.
